What is Ayurveda?
Having just completed a six month study project on the ancient form of medicine known as Ayurveda, pronounced AR – you – vay – dah, I offer you the following commentary for your perusal.
For thousand of years, "enlightened" people have enjoyed the health benefits of following the principles of ayurveda. Ayurveda states that being "healthy" is more than the absence of disease.
Instead, being healthy is what ayurveda calls a state of "Total Health" -- a radiant state of increased vigor, energy and balance. From the perspective of ayurveda -- The better the balance, the greater your health.
